1. Retail & Fulfillment
Orders are processed through Stripe and PayPal. By initiating a transaction, you agree to their respective end-user terms. Fulfillment is managed via Printful. Production times are estimates and do not include shipping transit.
2. Returns & Australian Consumer Law
Under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), you are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure. Since items are printed on demand:
- Faulty Items: Any claims for misprinted/damaged/defective items must be submitted within 30 days of receipt. We will cover the cost of a reprint or refund.
- Change of Mind: As each item is custom-made for the Machine, we do not typically offer refunds for change of mind or incorrect size selection.
- Lost in Transit: Claims must be submitted no later than 30 days after the estimated delivery date.
3. International Privacy Policy
In accordance with GDPR (EU) and APP (Australia), we protect your data node:
- Data Collection: We collect only necessary data (Email, Shipping Address) to fulfill orders and transmit updates.
- Third Parties: Your data is shared with Printful (Logistics) and PayPal/Stripe (Financials) solely to complete your request.
- Cookies: This site uses essential cookies to manage your session and shopping cart.
4. Narrative Disclaimer
The Flat Earth Machine Project is a work of speculative fiction and philosophical exploration. All “ritual items” and merchandise are sold as narrative artifacts for entertainment and artistic purposes only.

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

How long we retain your data
